about
us
SOAR is a ground up initiative that stands with individuals who are overcoming their struggles with mental health issues. We believe that persons in recovery from mental health issues are like the proverbial broken crayons that still colour.
At SOAR, our workshops are a labour of love that resulted from collaborations between mental health professionals, persons in recovery and their family members. Stories of recovery from mental health issues are intentionally weaved into every segment of the workshops. This approach to the workshop design sets them apart from informal peer support groups and distinct from professional-led workshops.
